Game development during school holidays
Game development demands a mix of technical knowledge, creativity, and team play. During our five-day bootcamp for youth between 11-20 years old, you get to learn how to create unique 2D games. We group the students from 11-15 and 16-20 separately to ensure fun social interactions! At the end of the course, you will have enough knowledge to be able to create your own game from scratch.
During the five days we go through four different aspects of game development.
Course content
- Programming – learn to program your own controls and interactions to make your game come alive.
- Graphics – create your own graphics, animations, characters, and backgrounds to make your game look exactly the way you want.
- Design – discover how to make your game fun, interesting, challenging, and popular through the right design.
- Project – work on your own or in a group to create a gaming project that you will get to bring home and show family and friends. Our competent trainers are there to guide you through the project.
The course targets 11-20 year-olds. We divide you into smaller groups based on age.
